After years of operating a successful mobile coffee cart, this husband-and-wife team set out to establish their first brick-and-mortar location. While they initially brought the cart into the space to begin serving, their vision quickly grew into creating a café that truly reflected their passion for coffee and their Costa Rican heritage. An early setback with an unqualified contractor left the project unfinished and the owners frustrated. Our team was brought in to bring the vision to life, properly and thoughtfully. We delivered a complete food service design and managed a full build-out while remaining mindful of the client’s budget. The result is a vibrant, full-service coffee shop that transports guests to Costa Rica through warm wood tones, white quartz countertops, and authentic Costa Rican décor and retail items. The finished space is lively, inviting, and rooted in the story and culture behind the brand.
